Abstract
Online learning is one of the solutions to the teaching and learning during the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic. Quality learning describes effective learning that can be observed through students’ levels of satisfaction. Student satisfaction is an individual’s feelings in responding and assessing the expected results based on the previous knowledge and experiences in their memories. Students’ satisfaction with online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic has not been extensively studied. This study aimed to determine the satisfaction of the fifth-semester undergraduate nursing students with online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study employed a descriptive design with 90 respondents recruited using a total sampling technique. The data were collected through the questionnaire that was developed by the researchers and tested for its validity and reliability. The validity test results showed that the questionnaire was valid with a Pearson’s correlation value of ≥ 0.3 and reliable with a Cronbach’s alpha of ≥ 0.6. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study showed that the more than 50% of respondents (n=51; 56.7%) were satisfied and very satisfied (n=9; 10%) with the implementation of online learning. Meanwhile, respondents who felt dissatisfied and very dissatisfied were 26 (28.9%) and 4 (4.4%), respectively. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that although the learning process was conducted online, more than 50% of respondents were satisfied with online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: Covid-19, student satisfaction, online learning
